
Agrobanka effect payment transactions efficiently and reliably with over 50,000 clients. Agrobanka, for its clients:
• opens and maintains accounts, carries out internal and inter-banking payment transactions;
• for each client, defines daily turnover and informs him about it;
• performs cash payments and receives payments on behalf of the accounts kept in Agrobanka and other banks;
• receives and collects cheques as of current accounts of physical persons;
• Performs all other payment transactions in accordance with the Law.
Documentation for account opening
Legal entities and individuals that perform certain business activities open a current account on the basis of:
A. Request for opening a current account – form of the Bank
Along with the application, the applicant shall submit the following documents:
1. Decision on registration with the competent authority (access to the original of the document or certified copy from the competent authority) or if the decision is older than three months: Certificate of registry of the competent authority, not older than three months
2. Act, of the competent authority, on the establishment
3. Excerpt from the Law, if incorporated under the Laws
4. Information on classification by category (statistics)
5. Excerpt from tax records that contains tax file number (if the tax identification number (PIB) is not stated in the Decision on registration with the competent authority)
6. Specimen signatures of persons authorized to manage the funds in the account
7. Certified signatures of authorized persons (OP form)
8. Notarized power of attorney if the account is opened by proxy
9. Document certified by the competent authority i.e. business document from which one can see the structure of ownership of domestic legal entity, a branch of foreign legal entity and physical person who performs the activity (original document for review or certified copy by the competent authority)
From this document, without any doubt, must be seen: first and last name, date and place of birth, residence of physical person,
- who is, directly or indirectly (through other legal entity), owner of at least 25% of the shares, stocks or other rights,on the basis of what, he participates in the management of a legal entity, branch of a foreign legal entity, physical person that performs the activity,
- participates in the capital of a legal entity, branch of a foreign legal entity i.e. physical person that performs the activity with at least 25% of share or
- has a dominant position in the management of the legal entity’s funds, branch of a foreign legal entity., i.e. physical person that performs the activity.
The ownership structure could be defined from the Charter, statutes, decision of the Agency for Business Registers, statements from the Central Registry of Securities or the status documentation of legal entities - its owners.
10. If there is a request for opening another account, the applicant, who already holds an account with the Bank, presents a reference to Law., i.e. regulations, which regulate that those funds should be kept separately.
11. Photocopy of the valid ID card (passport) for persons under item 6, 7, 8 and 9.
The above documentation should be submitted in original or certified copy.
